There are some golden rules that every bride-to-be should stick to if you want to look and feel energised, fresh and beautiful on your wedding day. I want to share with you what I think should be the 2015 beauty resolutions for brides-to-be. I know it’s not always going to be easy but you need to make a conscious decision to commit to them. Writing them down in order of preference can help cement them into your mind!
This is one of the easiest ways to get yourself into better shape. Lack of sleep can wreck havoc withy our skin, metabolism and energy levels. As an adult you should be getting 8 hours of good quality shut eye per night. I know you’re busy, we all are, but swap the hours you spend on Facebook for extras hours in the sack!
This is something that takes a lot of will power, I know! The result of touching your skin goes far beyond the redness that you leave behind. No matter how often you wash your hands you will always carry bacteria on them and as a result you will spread this onto open vulnerable parts of your skin by touching it. If you absolutely have to get rid of a white head make sure you use a clean, soft tissue after you have washed and steamed your face.
Yes yes, we I know you have heard it all before but if you are still a non believer then take the time to read this which will get you wanting to drink your body weight in water per day!
I have seen this happen too many times and almost always with disastrous consequences. Not only will you gain all the weight that you manage to lose and then some, a lot of the time you won’t look wonderful because you have put your body under such stress to shed the kilos. It’s just not worth it. Make sure you plan ahead and if you would like to lose a bit of weight do it slowly!
This is the best way to shed any excess fat, increase your energy levels (ironically) and to give yourself an all over glow. If you aren’t aware of the consequences of this devilish stuff then read my post on why you need to stay very far away!
If you embark on a great exercise routine that you are able to maintain and love then the benefits you will reap will go far beyond that of your waistline. Exercising releases endorphins which makes you happy – and who doesn’t want that?! Every. single. bride-to-be needs extra energy (and extra hours in the day)! Becoming leaner, more toned, agile and flexible will allow you to embark on your wedding planning journey without the worry of aching joints, bad posture or uncomfortable extra weight to bog you down.
Let me know which of these you feel will be the hardest to master and which of them you already have down?!
Happy Sunday lovely girls.
